It's a new bug and it happened after last update 2 days ago. All icons on desktop become 2 times smaller and unreadable even on 300%.

    Hi, good day!

When was the last time it worked properly?

Have you made any changes to your computer recently?

    Please try the methods below.

    • Restart your computer 2-3 times
    • Open Settings > System > Display Make sure Scale and Display resolution are set to Recommended values
    • While holding down the left CTRL key on your keyboard, use the mouse scroll button up or down to increase or decrease the size of your desktop icons.

I look forward to receiving your update and I'm willing to collaborate with you till we resolve the issue. Do keep me informed by clicking "Add comment" below.

Use the Windows display and accessibility settings to return icons and text to a comfortable size.

    1. Make all apps, taskbar, and desktop items bigger (Display scale)
      1. Press Windows logo key + I to open Settings.
      2. Select Display.
      3. Under Scale & layout, open the Scale menu.
      4. Choose a higher percentage (for example, from 100% to 125% or 150%) until the desktop icons and taskbar look right.
      5. Sign out and back in if any apps do not resize immediately.
    2. Make text (icon labels, menus, etc.) bigger
      1. Press Windows logo key + U or go to Start > Settings > Accessibility.
      2. Select Text size.
      3. Drag the Text size slider to the right to increase the sample text.
      4. Select Apply so Windows scales up all text, including icon labels.
    3. Adjust desktop icon size directly (if only desktop icons look wrong)
      1. Right-click an empty area of the desktop.
      2. Select View.
      3. Choose Large icons, Medium icons, or Small icons until the icons match the size used before.
      4. Alternatively, on the desktop, hold Ctrl and scroll the mouse wheel up or down to fine-tune icon size.

These steps will restore desktop icons, their text, and taskbar elements to a more readable size.
