Unable to verify student status with Noroff email

Hello, I am trying to register for Azure for Students using my personal Microsoft account (hfatahi1989@outlook.com). During the registration process I entered my school email address (honfat06746@stud.noroff.no) for student verification. I received the verification emails, but when I try to complete the process I receive errors such as “The client does not have access rights to the content” and “Unable to confirm your University ID”. I did not sign in with my school email account. I only used it for the student verification step as instructed. Could you please help reset my Azure for Students verification so I can complete the registration using my personal Microsoft account? Thank you.Skjermbilde 2026-03-06 211117

Azure for Students verification cannot be reset or fixed from here, and moderators or support agents cannot directly change account, verification, or sign‑in details.

For student offers such as Azure Dev Tools for Teaching / Azure for Students, the supported path is:

    1. Make sure the university email address is correctly added to the Microsoft account that will be used to sign in.
      • Sign in to https://account.microsoft.com with the personal Microsoft account.
      • Go to Your infoManage how you sign in to Microsoft.
      • Add the university email address as an alias and verify it using the code sent to that address.
    2. After the alias is verified, use that same Microsoft account to sign in to the Azure student offer page and complete the academic verification.
    3. If academic verification still fails or the institution is not recognized, contact the school’s IT/administration to confirm that the domain is enrolled in Microsoft’s education programs and to get guidance on eligibility.

Direct manual intervention in the verification system (including resetting Azure for Students verification) is not available through community support; issues must be resolved either by correcting the account/alias setup as above or by working with the institution and the automated verification flow.
