FM20.dll has gone missing from my computer

I am a developer & need FM20.dll to complete an Excel project. I had it but it's gone missing. I've tried uninstalling & installing Microsoft 365. Is there a way to download just that DLL?

FM20.dll is installed and serviced as part of Office; it is not provided as a standalone, supported download. To restore it, reinstall or repair the Office version that includes it rather than trying to obtain the DLL separately.

For development against FM20.dll (the Microsoft Forms 2.0 library), use a version of Office that installs it locally. The file is updated via Office updates, for example:

• Office 2010: Fm20.dll version 14.0.7153.5001
• 2007 Office system: Fm20.dll version 12.0.6718.5000

If FM20.dll has gone missing or become corrupted, the supported options are:

1. Run an Online Repair of Microsoft 365/Office from Apps & Features (or Programs and Features) so Office can reinstall its components, including FM20.dll where applicable.
2. If using an older perpetual Office (such as 2007 or 2010), reinstall or repair that Office version so its copy of FM20.dll is restored.

Do not download FM20.dll from third‑party sites; use only the copy installed and maintained by Office.
