I have been trying to cancel a subscription to Neat Office. I can find it in my order history but it does not show up on the subscription page. And that is were I need to find it to cancel and request a refund. We made the original purchase on February 7th and have been trying to cancel it ever since. Any help you can provide will be appreciated.

    Hello Steve Cerqua,

Neat Office is a third-party app, so its subscription is managed by the developer directly — not through Microsoft. It won't appear under Microsoft account subscriptions.

For cancellation, you will need to contact the Neat Office/WPS support team directly, as they handle all billing and subscription management on their end. Since the 14-day Microsoft Store refund window has already passed, the developer is the only path forward here.

Neat Office is a third‑party app, so it will not appear under Microsoft 365 subscriptions. It is managed as a one‑time app or an in‑app subscription through the store where it was purchased.

Use these steps to proceed based on what is visible in the Microsoft account:

    1. Since the purchase appears in order history, first confirm the details:
      • Go to the order history page at account.microsoft.com/billing and sign in.
      • Under Payment & billing > Order history, refine by date to include February 7 and locate the Neat Office purchase.
      • Select Order details to view and, if needed, print or save the invoice.
    2. Because Neat Office does not appear on the Services & subscriptions page, it is not a Microsoft 365/OneDrive/Xbox‑type recurring subscription managed there. In this case, cancellation and refund options depend on the store’s and publisher’s policies, not the Microsoft 365 subscription system.
    3. For Microsoft‑managed subscriptions (Microsoft 365, OneDrive storage, Clipchamp, etc.), the normal path would be:
      • Go to https://account.microsoft.com/services and sign in with the same Microsoft account used for purchase.
      • Find the subscription under Services & subscriptions and select Manage.
      • Select Cancel (or Upgrade or Cancel) and follow the prompts.
      • If eligible, a refund is calculated during cancellation. Since Neat Office does not appear here, this path does not apply to that product.
    4. If Neat Office was purchased through another store (for example, Google Play or Apple App Store), cancellation and refund must be requested through that store’s support, following their refund policies.
    5. If the charge is unexpected or appears as a recurring charge, use the Microsoft billing tools to investigate:
      • Review charges and payment methods on the Manage your payments page.
      • If the charge is not recognized or appears incorrect, follow the guidance in How to investigate a billing charge from Microsoft linked from that page.
    6. If assistance is still needed after confirming the order details and store of purchase, contact Microsoft support or the store’s support directly, referencing the order number from the order history.
