Margin Lines Showing Up In Table Formatting

I am trying to get rid of the margin lines that are for some reason not going away on my table. I turned on visible margin boundaries so I could make sure my table was within bounds, but I have turned it off and they still remain. Even when I set the table to "no borders" the lines are still there. There is no way to delete them, and when I tried to copy and paste anything from the table into a new one, all the table lines are there. I've attached pictures as well. Screenshot (24)

From your first screen shot, it looks like you either placed your table inside a text box or inside a one-cell table. While you have formatted the contained table without borders, you have not removed the borders from the containing object.

If you can upload a sample document to a cloud service, then post a share link here, we can tell you exactly what the containing object is and how to remove the border from it.

Those lines are table gridlines, not printable borders. Turning off page margin boundaries doesn’t affect them, and setting borders to “None” only removes printable borders, not the on‑screen grid.

To hide them so the table appears borderless while editing:

    1. Click anywhere inside the table.
    2. On the ribbon, go to the contextual Table Layout tab (sometimes labeled Layout under Table Tools).
    3. In the Settings group, click View Gridlines (or Gridlines). This toggles the display of the light gray table gridlines for all tables in the document.

The table will still have no printable borders, but the non‑printing gridlines will no longer show on screen.
