The app just updated. The last time it was updated, there were several different actions required to accomplish the same scan using my phone.

Now It's nowhere to be found. Any idea how I can use it to scan and save to my OneDrive like I've always done before (really the only use I have for this app).

The scan capability is still available, but it is now provided through the Microsoft 365 Copilot app’s Actions and, going forward, the recommended way to scan is via the OneDrive mobile app.

To continue scanning and saving to OneDrive:

    1. Use the Microsoft 365 Copilot app for Android
      • Install or open the Microsoft 365 Copilot app for Android and sign in with a Microsoft account so files can be saved to OneDrive or other cloud locations.
      • Use Actions such as:
        • Scan to PDF: Take a picture (or select one from the Gallery), tap Done, then save the PDF to the desired location.
        • Pictures to PDF: Select one or more pictures, tap Next, then Done, and save or share the resulting PDF.
        • Document to PDF: Open a Word document from OneDrive or phone storage, let it convert to PDF, then tap Edit and use the menu (⋮) to save the PDF where needed.
      • When working with PDFs, the app will prompt for a save location; choose a folder in OneDrive (for work/school this is typically the Documents folder in OneDrive for Business; for personal accounts, the Documents folder in personal OneDrive).
    2. Use the OneDrive app (recommended alternative for scanning)
      • Open the OneDrive app on Android.
      • Tap Scan (or +Scan).
      • Choose Whiteboard, Document, Business Card, or Photo and capture the scan.
      • Optionally use multi-page scanning (Android 6.5 or higher) to combine up to 10 pages into a single PDF.
      • Tap Done, name the file, and Save. Scans are automatically saved as PDFs in OneDrive.

If the scan entry point appears removed or changed in the Copilot app after an update, using OneDrive’s built-in scanner is the supported path going forward, and it will continue to save directly to OneDrive.
