I have a PAYG subscription that is based in the United States. Part of my application architecture requires sending appointment reminders and result notifications via text. To do so, I'd like my business to have a 10DLC. It is my understanding that if I meet the requirements described in this page, then I may conduct the brand registration.

I am confident my subscription is eligible but I cannot conduct the registration for a 10DLC.

How might I advance through registration?

When registering a 10DLC for SMS messaging using Azure Communication Services, you must first configure a sender ID (phone number or other supported sender type) in your ACS resource. Azure Communication Services supports multiple sender types such as 10DLC, toll-free numbers, short codes, and alphanumeric sender IDs, and each type requires proper registration or provisioning before SMS can be sent. In the case of 10DLC, businesses must complete brand and campaign registration so that the number is approved for Application-to-Person (A2P) messaging. This process ensures compliance with carrier regulations and helps prevent spam. If you cannot proceed with registration in the portal, verify that SMS capability is enabled for the ACS resource and that your subscription is eligible for messaging services.
