    Hello kenneth oakes,

Thank you for posting to Microsoft Q&A forum. I'm sorry to hear that you are unable to open your emails despite seeing them on your screen.

The reason this is happening is likely due to a temporary glitch where your browser's session token has expired or the page has become unresponsive. Here are a few quick steps to get those emails opening again:

    1. Refresh the page: Simply press F5 or click the reload icon in your browser to see if a fresh session fixes the click response.
    2. Use Incognito/InPrivate mode: Open a new Incognito window (Ctrl+Shift+N) and log in to your email there. If it works, a browser extension or a specific cookie is likely the cause of the problem.
    3. Clear Browser Cache: If the issue persists, go to your browser settings and clear your Cache and Cookies. This removes any corrupted data that might be blocking the page from working correctly.

I hope this helps you get back to reading your emails without any further trouble. Please feel free to reply if you need any further assistance!

In Outlook on the web, use the keyboard instead of the mouse to open and read messages:

    1. Make sure the message list has focus (click once anywhere in the list, or press Ctrl+F6 until the list is selected).
    2. Use the Up and Down arrow keys to move between messages in the list.
    3. Press Enter to open the selected message and read it.
    4. Press Esc to return to the message list.

If using a screen reader, these same keys let the screen reader announce each message as focus moves.
