    Hello

Can you go online https://account.live.com > subscriptions, see if you might have two subscriptions. If so, click on "manage" for one of them and cancel it on the next page.

Next, request a refund, go to https://support.microsoft.com/contactus, Type "Billing" and press Enter. On the next screen, click "Contact support" at the bottom of the page, then choose "Microsoft 365" > "Manage my subscription". You’ll then see the option to chat with a Microsoft support agent who has access to your account to help review the issue.

Double charges for a Microsoft 365 subscription usually mean either:

    • multiple subscriptions are active, or
    • the same payment method is being used on more than one Microsoft account, or
    • the subscription was also purchased through a third party (for example, a retailer or Amazon).

To fix this and request corrections or refunds, follow these steps:

    1. Check for duplicate or overlapping subscriptions
      • Go to your Subscriptions page and review all Microsoft 365 entries.
      • Look for:
        • more than one active Microsoft 365 subscription, or
        • overlapping renewal dates on the same product.
      • If there are multiple active subscriptions you don’t need, cancel the extra one(s). For cancellation and refund eligibility, see How to get a refund on a Microsoft subscription.
    2. Check if you’ve been charged on more than one Microsoft account
      • If you see multiple payments on your bank or card statement but only one charge in your Microsoft account order history, another Microsoft account may be using the same card.
      • Sign in to your Microsoft account Payment options page and select Investigate to search for other accounts using your card. Details are in I've been charged twice.
    3. Check for charges from third parties (such as Amazon or a retailer)
    4. If you still see duplicate charges, contact Microsoft Billing Support
      • Community forums and Q&A cannot access billing data or process refunds. Billing adjustments must be handled by Microsoft Support.
      • Use the guidance in these articles to reach Billing Support securely:
      • When contacting support, have ready:
        • the last 4 digits of each card being charged,
        • dates and amounts of the duplicate charges,
        • confirmation whether any subscription was also bought via a retailer.
    5. Verify you’re not being charged due to billing frequency or benefit changes
      • If using a Microsoft for Startups or similar benefit, changing billing frequency (for example, from monthly to annual) can cancel the benefit and start normal billing, as described in Microsoft 365.

After support confirms which charges are valid, they can cancel extra subscriptions and advise on any eligible refunds or credits.
