How to download the certification without access to the relevant MS-Account

Question

I have been passing the exam of Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900).

Yet, I do not have access to my Microsoft Account, which was connected to my email address associated with my former employer.

Nevertheless, I have the respective ID of the certificate.

How can I download / receive the the certification in PDF-format?

You need access to the email account used to schedule and take the exam. There is no other way.

Because access to the original Microsoft account is required to reach the Learn profile and associated credentials, the certificate cannot be downloaded directly without restoring access to that account.

Use the following supported options:

1. Restore access to the original Microsoft account
   • Access to the Learn profile and certifications requires at least one valid Microsoft Learn login account.
   • If the original login was a personal Microsoft account and the username or password is lost, use the self‑service options:
     • Forgotten your Microsoft account username
     • My username and password have stopped working
     • Reset a forgotten Microsoft Account Password
   • If the account truly cannot be recovered, note that Microsoft Credentials Support cannot recover or transfer the contents of a Learn profile that cannot be accessed.
2. If the account is recovered
   • Sign in to Microsoft Learn with the recovered account.
   • Go to the credentials area (Certifications tab) and open the Azure Fundamentals certification.
   • Certificates can no longer be downloaded directly; instead, view the certificate, print it, and use the browser’s “Save as PDF” or print‑to‑PDF option to obtain a PDF copy.
3. If the certification is missing from the recovered profile
   • Follow the guidance for missing exams or certifications:
     • Confirm that the correct Learn profile is being used and that there are not multiple profiles under different login accounts.
     • If the credential still does not appear, contact Microsoft Credentials Support using the process described in the missing‑certifications guidance so the support team can investigate.

If the original Microsoft account cannot be recovered by the self‑service account tools, the Learn profile and its certificates (including AZ‑900) cannot be accessed or reissued under a different account.
