Welcome to Microsoft Q&A.
From what you described, calendars are checked in the left pane but the main Calendar view stays blank until you untick and re‑tick them. This is commonly related to a corrupted Calendar view/navigation pane state. In some cases, an Outlook add‑in can also interfere with how calendars are rendered.
Please try the following steps in Classic Outlook for Windows, in this order:
- Reset the Calendar view
- Calendar > View tab > Reset View
- Start Outlook in Safe Mode (to rule out add‑ins)
-
Win + R>outlook /safe - If the issue does not occur in Safe Mode, disable add‑ins: File > Options > Add‑ins > COM Add‑ins > Go Then re‑enable them one at a time to identify the culprit.
- Repair the view cache
- Close Outlook >
Win + R>outlook /cleanviews
- Reset the navigation pane
- Close Outlook >
Win + R>outlook /resetnavpane(Note: this may reset the left pane and you may need to re‑add shared or subscribed calendars.)
If the issue still persists, creating a new Outlook profile often resolves view‑related corruption: Control Panel > Mail > Show Profiles > Add.
If you’d like, reply with your Outlook Version/Build (File > Office Account) and let me know whether the issue still occurs in Safe Mode, and I can suggest the best next step.
Please let me know if this proves useful to you, or if you would like further assistance.
I'm looking forward to your reply.
