Icon on task bar

Question

How do I get an Icon on task bar? I will be using the laptop occasionally & want easy access to this app.

There are different ways to get an icon to the taskbar and pinning the app to the taskbar is the easiest option. This keeps the icon visible even after restarting:

Method 1: In the Search box on the taskbar, type the name of the app you want to pin to the taskbar. Right-click on the app, then select Pin to taskbar.

Method 2: If the app is already open, right-click on the icon on the taskbar, then select Pin to taskbar.

To add an app icon to the taskbar for easy access:

1. Select the Start button (Windows icon) to open the Start menu.
2. Select All apps.
3. Find the app that should be on the taskbar.
4. Either:
   • Drag the app icon from the Start menu down to the taskbar, or
   • Right-click the app and select Pin to taskbar.

This keeps the icon on the taskbar so it is easy to launch whenever the laptop is used.
