    Hi Lynn Kauffman,

Thank you for posting your question on the Microsoft Q&A forum.

Based on your description, you would like to export the filtered opportunities from CRM into an Excel file so the data can be analyzed or edited there.

If my understanding is correct, this question appears to be related to CRM functionality. Since this community mainly focuses on Microsoft 365 and Office applications, the CRM topic may be outside the primary scope of support available here.

To work with the opportunities in Excel, export them from CRM to an Excel worksheet. In Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (on-premises), use the built-in Excel export for the opportunities view that already contains the filtered results.

    A typical approach is:

    1. Open the Opportunities view in Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (on-premises) and apply the search/filters so only the desired opportunities are listed.
    2. On the command bar, select Export to Excel.
    3. Choose the export type depending on how the data will be used:
      • Static worksheet if a one-time snapshot is sufficient.
      • Dynamic worksheet if the data should be refreshable from CRM.
      • Dynamic PivotTable if a PivotTable is needed for analysis.
    4. Select the columns/fields to include (if prompted), then select Export.
    5. Save the generated .xlsx file and open it in Excel. The opportunities will appear in a table that can be sorted, filtered, and analyzed.

If using Microsoft 365 Lighthouse opportunities instead of Dynamics 365, export as follows:

    1. In Lighthouse, in the left navigation, select Opportunities.
    2. Select the tab that contains the opportunities to export (All opportunities, Customer acquisition, Customer retention, or Customer growth).
    3. Apply filters as needed (Group, Probability, Product, Opportunity type, Date created).
    4. Select Export to download a .csv file.
    5. Open the .csv file in Excel; the opportunities will be in tabular form with columns such as Customer ID, Customer Name, Opportunity Type, Customer Insight, Suggested Actions, Recommended Product, Seats, and Date added.
