I have a UWP app that access the camera and microphone. When the app is launched and camera is accessed for the first time, a message box asking for permission is popped up. On providing permission, all works fine.
Q1> Now if user goes to settings and update the permission manually for my specific app. While launching the second time, the popup does not appear considering user has revoked the permission. Is there a way the app can re-ask for the permission and that can be updated programmatically in settings.
Q2> Is there an API to check what all permission my app has.

    Hello,

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A!

Is there a way the app can re-ask for the permission and that can be updated programmatically in settings.

I have to say no. Currently, there is no such API that could re-ask for permission. Users have to update the permission in the Settings manually.

Is there an API to check what all permission my app has.

No, there is no API that could query all the permission that the UWP app has. If you need this feature, you could submit a feature request in the Feedback Hub. You could find the Feedback Hub in the Start Menu.

    Thank you.
