Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Q&A forum. I understand how concerning it is when important emails appear to be missing and when messages stay in Drafts instead of being sent.
Please kindly try these steps:
1, Check Deleted Items, Archive, and Junk folders
- Missing emails may have been moved automatically due to sync delays, filters, or server‑side rules.
- Also go to Outlook web via https://outlook.live.com and check those folders
2, Review Outlook rules and filters
- In your Outlook app or Outlook web, make sure there are no rules that move or delete sent or received messages unexpectedly.
3, Confirm the account type and sync method
- If the optonline.net account is added as POP or IMAP, sent mail behavior depends on provider settings.
- Some providers keep sent messages on the server, while others do not, which can cause sent emails to remain in Drafts temporarily or appear missing.
4, Check via webmail (Optonline web portal)
- Please sign in to the Optonline webmail site and verify:
- Whether the missing emails appear there
- Whether sent messages are delivered successfully from webmail
5, Remove and re‑add the account
- If the issue started around February 26, 2026, re‑adding the account in Outlook can help refresh the connection and resolve corrupted sync data.
Please feel free to let me know how it goes so I can guide you further. I truly appreciate your time and understanding.
