Yes. Signing in to Microsoft Edge does not require setting up a passkey. Passkeys and security keys are optional sign-in methods; normal username/password and other methods still work if available.

Try these approaches:

1. Use normal Edge sign-in (no passkey)
   • Open Edge.
   • Go to Settings and more (…) > Settings > Profiles.
   • Select Sign in and enter the Microsoft account or work/school account username and password.
   • If prompted for extra verification (like a code or Authenticator), complete that instead of choosing any passkey/security key option.
2. If Edge is trying to force a passkey/security key
   • On the sign-in page, look for links such as Other ways to sign in, Sign-in options, or Sign in another way.
