    Hi, I'm John!

Which Microsoft 365 plan do you have (Family, Personal, Business, etc.)?

Check if Publisher is included in your subscription. Some Microsoft 365 plans do not include Publisher.

    • Go to: https://account.microsoft.com/services
    • Sign in with the Microsoft account used for the purchase.
    • Look at your Microsoft 365 subscription and check if Publisher is listed under the included apps.

Click "Add comment" to let me know.

    Regards,

    John J.D.

If Publisher did not install when Microsoft 365 was reinstalled, reinstalling the full Microsoft 365 suite from the account portal will restore any missing apps, including Publisher, as long as the subscription includes it.

    Use these steps:

    1. Go to the Microsoft 365 services page and sign in with the account associated with the subscription.
    2. Follow the steps in Download and install or reinstall Microsoft 365 or Office 2024 on a PC or Mac to reinstall Microsoft 365.
    3. When the installation completes, check the Start menu for Publisher; missing apps such as Outlook, Access, or Publisher are restored by a full reinstall.

If Publisher is still missing after reinstalling, verify that the Microsoft 365 plan in use actually includes Publisher for Windows, and if needed, completely uninstall Office first using the uninstall support tool, then reinstall:

    1. Run the Microsoft 365 uninstall troubleshooter from the Uninstall button in the article.
    2. Restart the computer when prompted.
    3. Reinstall Microsoft 365 using the same download/install article.
