I am trying to set up a pre purchased microsoft 365 product and it wont accept a recurring payment card can i install without recurring payment

Hi! Did MS 365 come pre-installed on a computer? Did you receive a redemption key?

It usually doesn't require recurring payments. Only if you're activating the 1-month trial.

I purchased from another supplier a 12 month subscription. When I go to install. It asks me to set up a recurring payment, it won’t accept any credit card input. And therefore won’t let me progress to install. Can I install without ongoing payment method!

You shouldn't be asked to add a card. Did you buy from a reputable vendor? I recommend you also contact the store's support.

Where did you download the Microsoft 365 installer from? Did you download it from the office.com website or did the store seller send it by email?

Have you already redeemed your license and linked it to your account? You should do this if you only have the redemption key. See this:
