Hi, I'm Rodrigo and I will help you.

Open the Start Menu, type netplwiz and press enter. Select your user account > Properties > Change the information under "Full name", the changes will apply after restarting the computer.

The name shown on the Windows 11 sign-in (logon) screen comes from the account’s display name. To change it, edit the account name associated with the account that signs in.

For a Microsoft account (most home Windows 11 PCs):

    1. Open a browser and go to Your info in the Microsoft account.
    2. Sign in with the same Microsoft account used on the PC.
    3. On the Edit name screen, change the first and/or last name and select Save.
    4. It can take up to 24 hours for the new name to appear on the sign-in screen.

For a work or school account:

    1. Sign in to the work or school account portal.
    2. Update the account name there (if allowed by the organization). If not allowed, contact the IT admin.
    3. Changes can also take up to 24 hours to show everywhere.

For a local account (no Microsoft account connected):

    1. Use the local account management options in Windows to rename the local user (for example, via the user account management tools referenced under “Manage user accounts in Windows”).
    2. After renaming, sign out and back in; the new name will appear on the sign-in screen.

If the goal is only to change what appears on certificates, transcripts, or other Microsoft services (like Microsoft Learn or Outlook), update the Microsoft account display name instead of the local Windows account name.
