As part of the certification registration, when I enter my address information and hit submit to be verified into Pearson VUE - I keep getting this error. I previously used to be associated with organization with ESI discount. But now I'm no longer part of the organization. But when I first submitted, it applied the ESI discount - but errored out when I tried to pay for the certification. Now I've removed the organization email and cleared cache and tried different browsers and incognito more - but I keep getting the error.AI Engineer Exam Registration Error.png

ERROR_VUE_WIDE_BLOCK is typically because your account has been blocked by Pearson Vue which normally happens because of multiple failed payments. You need to contact Pearson Vue support using the link on https://aka.ms/CertificationSupport to get the block lifted.

The behavior matches a Pearson VUE account block (often surfaced as an error during the handoff from Microsoft Learn to Pearson VUE), which commonly occurs after failed payment attempts or discount issues.

    To resolve this:

    1. Open a certification support request so the issue can be investigated from the Microsoft side and, if needed, routed correctly:
      • Go to Microsoft Credentials support / Learning: https://aka.ms/CertificationSupport (as referenced in the Q&A threads).
      • Provide details of the error, the exam being scheduled, and that the issue started after an ESI discount was applied and a payment attempt failed.
    2. Contact Pearson VUE support to check for and remove any account-wide block:
      • Use the Pearson VUE support options linked from the same Certification Support page (Pearson VUE - Customer Service or Chat).
      • Mention that the error occurs when transferring from Microsoft Learn to Pearson VUE and that there were previous failed payment/discount attempts.

Once Pearson VUE removes any block and support confirms the account is clear, retry scheduling from the Microsoft Learn certification page, signing in with the current (non‑organizational) Microsoft account and completing the address/transfer step again.
