    Hi @AlexanderKitzen-7205,

Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A forum.

I would like to provide you with the following information:

The error you are encountering (Error Code: 50001) during the Microsoft 365 Developer Program registration process may be a server-side issue, occurring during the provisioning or phone number verification stage, and originating from Microsoft’s backend services.

For basic troubleshooting, you can try clearing your browser cache and cookies, then attempt to register again using an InPrivate window in Microsoft Edge or an Incognito window in another browser.

In many cases, this error occurs when the phone number has previously been associated with another Developer Program account or has reached the allowed verification limit. One possible workaround is to remove the existing Developer Program profile linked to that phone number, or to retry the registration process using a completely different phone number.

Microsoft has also implemented stricter controls on Developer Program registrations to reduce abuse. As a result, direct registration using a personal Microsoft account may be restricted or temporarily unavailable in certain regions. At this time, the most reliable way to obtain a Microsoft 365 developer tenant is through a valid Visual Studio subscription, such as Visual Studio Professional or Visual Studio Enterprise (if applicable).

For more details, please refer to the Microsoft 365 Developer Program FAQ.

If you believe that you fully meet the program requirements but are still unable to complete the registration due to this internal server error, the appropriate next step is to contact Microsoft Developer Support. Support for the Developer Program is handled through Services Hub.

Please note that access to Services Hub depends on your organization’s support agreement and is typically available under paid support plans. You can review the access requirements and sign-in conditions in the Services Hub sign-in FAQs.

I hope this information is helpful.

If you have any questions or need further assistance, please feel free to share them in the comments on this post so I can continue to support you.

I look forward to continuing the conversation.
