The voucher is enforcing its own redemption window, which is why scheduling beyond March 19 is blocked. Voucher-based Microsoft Certification exams must be both scheduled and taken within the validity period defined for that specific offer; the system will not allow booking a date outside that window.
To resolve this and get help the same day, use the official certification support and Pearson VUE channels rather than general customer support lines:
- Contact Microsoft Certification Support
- Go to the certification support entry point at https://aka.ms/CertificationSupport (from there, use the options to reach Pearson VUE or Microsoft Credentials support as appropriate for exam scheduling and vouchers).
- Explain that the school-issued voucher only allows scheduling up to March 19 but the instructor expects an April exam date.
- Contact Pearson VUE directly about the voucher block
- ERROR_VUE_WIDE_BLOCK and similar account/voucher issues are handled only by Pearson VUE support. Use the Pearson VUE contact link exposed via the certification support page above.
- Ask them to:
- Check whether the voucher is tied to a specific campaign with a hard end date (e.g., must be taken by March 19), and
- Confirm whether any rescheduling beyond that date is allowed for that voucher type.
- If the voucher is from a specific promotion or event
- Some vouchers (for example, SXSW EDU or sweepstakes offers) have strict terms like “exams must be scheduled and taken on or before a specific date” and “voucher expiration extensions are not permitted.” If the school’s voucher is of that type, Pearson VUE or Microsoft Credentials Support will need to confirm whether an exception is possible; otherwise, a new voucher may be required for an April exam.
If support confirms that the voucher’s terms require the exam to be taken by March 19, there is no way in the system to force an April date with that same code; only support can provide an alternative (such as a different voucher) if the program allows it.
