I uninstalled Microsoft word and redownloaded it. It gives option to repair but never works. I used other software to delete and i think i might be missing a core file separate from Microsoft word to work. I found that the microsoft 365 has pops the error pops up Error Code: **30015-13 (2147942405).
**Im not sure if i deleted a cpp file or corrupted microsoft file but it has been a problem since i deleted word a while ago.

Error code 30015-13 during Microsoft 365/Word install or repair usually indicates the Office installation is corrupted and needs a full repair or clean reinstall of the entire Office suite, not just Word.

Follow these steps on Windows (choose the section that matches the Windows version in use):

    1. Run an Online Repair of Office
      • On Windows 10/11:
        1. Right-click the Start button.
        2. Select Apps and Features (Windows 10) or Installed apps (Windows 11).
        3. Find the Microsoft Office/Microsoft 365 product, select it, then choose Modify.
        4. In How would you like to repair your Office Programs, select Online Repair > Repair. This is more thorough than Quick Repair and will replace missing or corrupted files.
        5. Follow the on-screen instructions and restart the computer if prompted.
      • On Windows 8/8.1:
        1. Right-click the Start button (lower-left corner) and select Control Panel.
        2. Under Programs, select Uninstall a program.
        3. Right-click the Microsoft Office product and select Change.
        4. In How would you like to repair your Office Programs, select Online Repair > Repair.
        5. Complete the wizard and restart if prompted.
      • On Windows 7/Vista:
        1. Click Start > Control Panel.
        2. Under Programs, select Uninstall a program.
        3. Click the Office product and then Change.
        4. For Click-to-Run installs, choose Online Repair > Repair; for MSI-based installs, choose Repair and Continue.
        5. Finish the repair and restart if required.
    2. If Online Repair does not fix it
      • Completely uninstall Office from Apps & Features / Programs and Features.
      • Restart the PC (not just shut down, but restart).
      • Reinstall Office from the Microsoft account or the original installer so that all shared components and any missing core files are restored.

If third-party uninstall tools removed shared or core Office components, the Online Repair or a full reinstall of the entire Office suite is required to restore them; reinstalling Word alone is not sufficient.
