How to anonymise Order History?

I have an order in 2023 for a gift purchase that has my email, paypal email, and address (even though it was a virtual gift card). The transaction's complete, it's been redeemed, but I would like to clear my personal information.

Is it possible to remove or at the very least redact this information?

I could not find a chat support option suitable for this.

Order details such as email, payment method, and address shown in Microsoft order history or gift card history cannot be edited or anonymized by the user once the transaction is completed and recorded.

For Microsoft Store and subscription purchases, personal and billing details remain visible in the order record when viewing past purchases at the order history page (account.microsoft.com/billing/orders). These records are used for tracking orders, invoices, and refunds and are not user-editable.

For Microsoft Store digital gift cards, if the card is already redeemed, it also cannot be cancelled or refunded, and the associated order record (including purchaser details) remains in the gift card history. Only non‑redeemed digital gift cards can be cancelled within 14 days via the gift card history page.

To pursue deletion of personal data beyond what is exposed in self-service pages, the supported path is to open a support case and request deletion of personal data where such processes exist (for example, as documented for specific services like Azure Rights Management). For consumer Microsoft Store billing records, this requires direct handling by Microsoft Support, as community forums and standard user interfaces do not provide tools to redact or anonymize historical order metadata.

The practical next step is to contact Microsoft Support directly through the official support channel and open a billing/data-privacy case, specifying the exact order and the personal data to be removed. Community forums and Q&A sites cannot access or modify account or billing data.
