Clarification on AI-300 Certification Name and Scope

Hello Team,

I recently noticed the announcement of the AI-300 certification exam, which is currently available in beta. In some Microsoft blogs and announcements, the certification is referred to as “Microsoft Certified: Machine Learning Operations (MLOps) Engineer Associate.”

However, when I reviewed the official exam guide on the Microsoft certification page, the certification title appears as “Microsoft Certified: Operationalizing Machine Learning and Generative AI Solutions (beta).” Additionally, the exam guide includes topics related to MLOps, GenAIOps, and AIOps concepts.

Because of this, I am a bit confused about the official certification name and positioning.

Could you please clarify:

1. What is the official certification title associated with the AI-300 exam?
2. Was the earlier name “Machine Learning Operations (MLOps) Engineer Associate” changed to “Operationalizing Machine Learning and Generative AI Solutions”?
3. Is the certification intended to cover MLOps, GenAIOps, and AIOps practices together as part of operationalizing AI systems?

I would appreciate any clarification so that learners and training providers can reference the correct certification name.
