Updating the email address for a scheduled Microsoft certification exam or a voucher-based booking cannot be done directly here. The supported path is to contact the official certification support channels so they can correct the account and booking details.
Use these steps:
- Go to Microsoft Credentials / Certification support
- Open the Microsoft Credentials support page for help with certifications and exams: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/credentials/support/help
- Create a support request under the Certifications/Exams category.
- In the request, include:
- Exam name and code (for example, AZ-104)
- Registration ID and date/time of the exam (from the Pearson VUE confirmation)
- The incorrect email address used
- The correct personal email address that should be associated
- Mention that the exam was scheduled using a voucher from the employer.
- If the exam was scheduled through Pearson VUE
- Sign in to the Pearson VUE account that was used to schedule the exam.
- If the email on the Pearson VUE profile is wrong or needs to be changed, contact Pearson VUE customer service so they can update the profile and resend confirmations.
- Pearson VUE can also help if the voucher needs to be re-applied under the corrected account.
- If the voucher was tied to a specific email from an event or promotion
- Some vouchers or discounts are applied automatically to the Microsoft Learn profile for the email address used to register for an event or promotion and appear at checkout rather than as a separate code.
- If the voucher was issued this way and is not visible under the correct email, open a support request via Microsoft Credentials support and explain that the voucher needs to be associated with the new email.
- If the certification record later appears under the wrong Microsoft account
- After taking the exam, if the certification or exam result does not appear in the intended Microsoft account, use Microsoft Credentials support to request that the records be corrected or associated with the correct Microsoft account.
All changes to exam bookings, vouchers, and certification profiles must be handled by Microsoft Credentials support and/or Pearson VUE support; they have the tools to update the email address on the booking and resend confirmation or exam links.
