I need to cancel a subscription which I have no access to

I need to cancel a subscription which comes off my card the same time every year.

I have no access to the admin account and I have no idea if it’s managed by a third party or not. I’ve tried calling Microsoft and I get no help from an AI answering machine, it would be great if I could speak with a human.Please can someone provide assistance as this is costing me for something I haven’t used in years and it’s proving to be incredibly hard to cancel

    Hi Stephen Fulco,

    If you still have access to the Microsoft account that originally purchased the subscription, you may try cancelling it using the steps in the following guide: Cancel a microsoft 365 subscription

    However, since you mentioned that you no longer have access to the admin account, the self-service cancellation steps may not work. In that situation, the Microsoft Billing Support team will need to help locate the subscription and stop the recurring charge.

    You can contact them using one of the following options:

    Option 1: Contact Microsoft Support online

    Option 2: Contact Microsoft Support by phone

    • You can find the customer service phone number for your region here: Customer service phone numbers
    • Explain that the subscription is being charged to your card but you no longer have access to the account that manages it.
    • The billing team should be able to investigate using the payment details and help cancel the subscription.
