Hi. I'm David, and I'm happy to help you.

    Please clarify the following:

Are you trying to play audio via internal speakers, external speakers, or headphones?

If it is an external speaker or headphones, does it have a standard audio connector (Jack connector) or USB connector, or is it connected via Bluetooth?

Also, share a screenshot of your system information.

    • Press "Windows + R", type msinfo32 and press Enter.

Maximize the window and use the shortcut "Windows + Shift + S" to use the screenshot tool.

    I await your reply.

Use the following checks and fixes in order on Windows 10:

    1. Confirm the correct output device is selected
      1. Select the Speakers icon on the taskbar (check the overflow/hidden icons if needed).
      2. Select the arrow next to the volume slider to open the list of audio devices.
      3. Choose the device actually being used (PC speakers, headphones, etc.) and test sound again.
    2. Check physical connections and volume controls
      1. Make sure speaker/headphone cables are firmly plugged in.
      2. If the PC has multiple 3.5 mm jacks, verify the plug is in the correct output jack (often green or labeled “headphone”/“speaker”).
      3. Ensure speakers are powered on.
      4. Turn up volume on:
        • Windows volume slider
        • Any hardware volume knob on the speakers/headset
        • Volume inside the app being used (browser, media player, etc.).
      5. If using USB speakers/headset, try a different USB port.
      6. Unplug any headphones and test again, in case the system is routing audio to them.
    3. Check sound settings and mutes in Windows
      1. Right‑click the Speakers icon on the taskbar and select Open Volume mixer.
      2. In Volume Mixer, make sure none of the sliders (Device or Apps) show a red muted icon; if they do, select them to unmute and raise the volume.
      3. Go to Start > Settings > System > Sound.
      4. Under Output, select the device in use, then select Device properties.
      5. Ensure the Disable checkbox is cleared for the output device.
    4. Set the correct default audio device (especially for HDMI/USB/monitors)
      1. In the taskbar search box, type control panel and open it.
      2. Select Hardware and Sound > Sound.
      3. On the Playback tab, select the speakers/headphones that should output sound.
      4. Right‑click them and choose Set as Default Device, then select OK.
      5. If an external monitor without speakers is set as default, change it to real speakers/headphones.
    5. Run the audio troubleshooter
      1. Open Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters.
      2. Find Audio and select Run.
      3. Apply any fixes it suggests.

If there is still no sound after these steps, check Device Manager for audio driver issues and reinstall/update the audio driver from the PC or motherboard manufacturer, as suggested in the referenced Q&A.
