Microsoft 365 features that help users manage their subscriptions, account settings, and billing information.
To cancel a Teams-related subscription, use the method that matches where it was purchased.
A. Cancel a Teams app subscription bought inside Microsoft Teams
- Open Microsoft Teams.
- Select Apps > Manage your apps.
- Go to the Subscriptions tab.
- Find the app subscription to cancel and select More options ... > View subscription.
- Select Cancel subscription and follow the prompts.
Note: Only subscriptions that were purchased by the signed-in account can be managed this way. For billing profile or recurring billing changes, select Manage more in Microsoft 365 admin center from the same area.
B. Cancel a Microsoft 365/Teams subscription for home (personal account)
- Go to Subscriptions and sign in with the same Microsoft account used to buy the subscription.
- Under Services & subscriptions, find the Microsoft 365/Teams subscription.
- Select Manage.
- If Turn on recurring billing is shown instead of Manage, the subscription is already set to expire on the date shown and will not renew.
- On the next page, select Cancel or Upgrade or Cancel (wording may vary).
- Follow the on-screen steps to complete cancellation.
If cancellation is not available and only recurring billing can be turned off, the subscription will remain active until the end of the current term and then stop renewing.
If the subscription was purchased through a third party (for example, Google Play, Apple App Store, or a retailer such as Amazon or Best Buy), cancellation must be done through that provider’s support and billing system.
