    Sorry for the delay in reply. I've been offline.

    Thanks for the clarifications.

    If the procedure recommended by Kapil Arya does not work as expected, I suggest you perform an In-place Upgrade. This procedure reinstalls Windows, which helps to fix problems.

    It's a simple procedure, and you have the option to keep files, settings, and apps. Therefore, all your data is kept.

    (Temporarily disable McAfee during the entire procedure.)

    Download the ISO file to perform the procedure:

    1. Access the link below;

    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows11

    1. Under Download Windows 11 Disk Image (ISO), click Select download and select Windows 11 (multi-edition ISO for x64 devices);
    2. Click Download;
    3. Choose the language and click on Confirm;
    4. Then, click 64-bit Download.
    5. Wait for the download to finish and proceed to the procedure below.

    After downloading the ISO, do the following:

    1. Double-click the ISO to run;

    (After running the ISO, you may need to double-click the Setup file to start the procedure.)

    1. On the Install Windows 11 screen, uncheck I want to help make the installation of Windows better and select Change how Windows Setup download updates;
    2. On the next screen, select Not right now and click Next;
    3. Accept the terms of use;
    4. On the Ready to install screen, select Choose what to keep and select what you want to keep.

    (It is in this step that you must check Keep personal files and apps so that all your data is kept.)

    1. Click on Install and wait for the procedure to finish. Your computer may restart several times.

    After the procedure is complete, check if the Microsoft Store opens correctly.

    If you get any errors or the problem persists, please let me know.

    Feel free to ask any questions you may have.

    Try to re-register Store app with following command in PowerShell:

    Get-AppXPackage WindowsStore -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

    Hi. I'm David, and I'm happy to help you.

    Please clarify the following:

    Do you have a third-party antivirus installed? If yes, which one?

    Also. What is the current "OS Build" of your Windows 11?

    • Press "Windows + R", type winver, and click OK.

    If you prefer, share a screenshot. Use the shortcut "Windows + Shift + S" to use the screenshot tool.

    Be sure to censor your email address if it appears. The Microsoft Q&A is public.

    I await your reply.

    Try these steps in order on Windows 11 when Microsoft Store will not open:

    1. Reset the Microsoft Store cache
      1. Press Windows logo key + R to open Run.
      2. Type wsreset.exe and select OK.
      3. A blank Command Prompt window opens; after about 10 seconds it closes and Microsoft Store should open automatically.
    2. Make sure Windows is fully updated
      1. Open Settings > Windows Update.
      2. Select Check for updates and install all available updates.
      3. Restart the PC after updates complete and try opening Microsoft Store again.
    3. Check time, date, and region settings
      1. Open Settings > Time & language.
      2. Ensure Date & time and Time zone are correct (turn on Set time automatically if available).
      3. In Language & region, confirm the correct Country or region is selected.
    4. If Store opens but apps fail or behave incorrectly Work through these for affected apps:
      1. Close and reopen the app.
      2. Ensure Windows is updated (as above).
      3. Open Microsoft Store > See more (⋯) > Downloads and updates > Get updates to update Store and apps.
      4. If a specific app is broken, use Settings > Apps > Installed apps to Repair or Reset it (where available).

    If Microsoft Store still does not open after these steps, run the Windows Store Apps troubleshooter (on Windows 10) or the relevant troubleshooters under Settings > System > Troubleshoot on Windows 11, and consider repairing apps as described in the references.
