Hi emaanescense,
I understand how stressful this situation can feel, especially after carefully following backup steps.
Based on what you shared, your backup does include important Minecraft data (such as resource packs, skins, and templates). However, Minecraft Bedrock on Windows stores game worlds in a different location than those folders, which is why you’re not seeing a minecraftWorlds folder in your backup.
On recent versions of Minecraft Bedrock for Windows 11, world save files are stored separately from the main com.mojang folder. As a result, backing up only that folder may not include your worlds, even though other game content is present.
Your worlds may still be safely stored on your PC. Please try the following checking steps:
- Press Windows + R
- Type
%appdata%and press Enter - Open Minecraft Bedrock
- Go to Users > open the folder with a long number
- Navigate to:
games > com.mojang > minecraftWorlds - If you see folders with random letters and numbers, those are your worlds.
If you don’t see them there
- Check the Recycle Bin in case the folder was removed recently.
- If you use File History or system backups, review previous versions of the AppData folder.
- If the worlds were synced to another device or service (such as cloud or console), they may still be accessible from there.
I hope these steps help you reconnect with your saved worlds. Let me know if you need further assistance, feel free to ask me by clicking "Add Comment" or "Add Answer" if you cannot add comment so your response will be visible. Thanks for your effort.
