How do I change the credit card that is paid monthly?

To change the credit card used for a monthly Microsoft 365 or other Microsoft subscription, update the payment method on the Microsoft account that is being charged.

Follow these steps:

1. Go to the Payment options page: https://account.microsoft.com/billing/payments
2. Sign in with the Microsoft account that is paying for the subscription.
3. Find the payment method (credit card) that is currently being charged monthly.
4. Select View or edit card.
5. Update the card details (for example, card number, expiration date, CVV, billing address), or add a new card and save it.
6. Ensure the updated or new card is set as the payment method for the subscription.

If the monthly charge is for Azure or a Partner Center membership instead of a consumer Microsoft 365 subscription, the card must be changed in the Azure portal or via Partner Center billing profile payment methods, using the Payment methods or Replace options described in the context.
