I am running Windows 11 Home Version: 25H2, OS build: 26200.8037, Experience: Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.26100.300.0 My laptop is a 2021 Asus Zephyrus G14 GA401QM-211. Here is a speccy snapshot link [http://speccy.piriform.com/results/iwQbaQbFiP7UELxTEugHBWV]

I keep getting this error almost everyday, multiple times a day. I lose all wifi/network signal and it can last for about 5-10mins. and in event viewer the same error will pop up 6-7 times.

Please help me fix this so it can stop driving me crazy. Let me know if more info is needed.

Thank You.

Example: DHCPerror1

I have uninstalled and reinstalled my network card drivers, Most recent update was

Description: This download installs the Windows® 10 and Windows 11* Wi-Fi package drivers 24.20.2 for the Intel® Wi-Fi 7/Wi-Fi 6E/Wi-Fi 6 and Intel® 9000 series Wireless Adapters Version: 24.20.2.1 Release date: March 3, 2026 Size: 44.16 MB

Restarting/shutting down the laptop during the error also doesnt help. I have tried opening admin powershell/cmd and running IPconfig release, renew, flushdns. Even doing this while in the middle of the error doesnt help.

I have ran sfc /scannow and DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth, DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth, DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth. With no issues.

With running netsh winsock reset catalog, netsh int ipv4 reset reset.log, netsh int ipv6 reset reset.log I have to go into regedit and play with permissions before it will go through with no denials or error, but when I restart, it resets it back to before.

These are the last 3 crashes i have had uploaded to google drive: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1s44CiFDeKsMSF04bjZpSeF5fq7gWqKyf/view?usp=drive_link (Feb 26th 26)

Your computer was not able to renew its address from the network (from the DHCP Server) for the Network Card with network address 0xE0D464C85078. The following error occurred: 0x4C7. Your computer will continue to try and obtain an address on its own from the network address (DHCP) server.

Hello Shagami, Based on the event logs you provided, the issue is directly tied to the Microsoft-Windows-DHCPv6-Client. The Event ID 1003 with status code 1223 indicates that your network card is failing to negotiate an IPv6 address with your router, which causes the connection to hang and drop entirely. Furthermore, the netsh permission issues you experienced are common when registry keys lock down IPv4/IPv6 resets.

To resolve this, please follow these steps:

    1. Disable IPv6 on your Network Adapter

    • Press Win + R, type ncpa.cpl, and hit Enter.
    • Right-click your Intel Wi-Fi adapter and select Properties.
    • Scroll down the list, uncheck the box next to Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6).
    • Click OK to save.

    2. Disable Adapter Power Management

    • Right-click the Start button and open Device Manager.
    • Expand Network adapters, right-click your Intel Wi-Fi adapter, and select Properties.
    • Go to the Power Management tab.
    • Uncheck "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" and click OK. (Note: If this tab is missing due to Modern Standby, you can skip this step).

    3. Use the GUI Network Reset

    • Go to Settings > Network & internet > Advanced network settings > Network reset.
    • Click Reset now and let the PC restart.

Please apply these changes and monitor your system for the next day. I am more than happy to follow up and continue working with you if the dropouts persist!
