Legitimate sender blocked and not being delivered to my Hotmail account

Hello,

I am currently experiencing an issue receiving automated emails from a property management portal.

The emails are sent from the address <Mod remove PII> @blocksonline.co.uk, but they are not being delivered to my mailbox (<Mod remove PII> @hotmail.com). The sender receives the following delivery error: “Failed – Not delivering to a user who marked your messages as spam.”

However:

• I am receiving regular emails from the company without any issue.

• I have checked my Junk/Spam folder and the messages are not there.

• I have added <Mod remove PII> @blocksonline.co.uk and @blocksonline.co.uk to my Safe Senders list.

• I have checked that the domain is not in my blocked senders list.

Despite following all the recommended steps, the automated portal emails are still not reaching my mailbox.

Could you please check if there is a server-side block or reputation filter preventing emails from this domain from being delivered to my account?

Thank you for your assistance.

    Hello

Did you check your "block list" and make sure it is not blocked there, even if you have them in your safe sender list.

In addition, their SPF record appears to have duplicated "include" value, It also very possibly is too close to the lookup limit. This is information you would need to let them/their support know. Only they can fix these issues.

    They can reference Microsoft's requirements:

    Hi,

    Thanks for your help.

Yes, I checked my block list and it is now completely empty. I removed all blocked senders and also deleted all rules just to make sure nothing could interfere with incoming emails.

I also added ******@blocksonline.co.uk and the domain @blocksonline.co.uk to my safe senders list.

Unfortunately I still can’t receive the automated emails from their system.

I will pass on the information you mentioned about their SPF record possibly having duplicated “include” values and being close to the lookup limit, as this might need to be fixed on their side.

Thanks again for pointing this out. I don’t know what else I can do to be honest!
