Hi Andre Miranda,
Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A forum.
I understand how frustrating it is when emails you send to yourself are moved straight to Junk, and it’s especially concerning if the account appears to be sending emails automatically.
1. Security check
If you see any emails in Sent Items that you did not send, please first check and disable automatic forwarding:
- Go to Outlook.com Settings > Mail > Forwarding, make sure Forwarding is turned off, then click Save.
2. Fix emails sent to yourself going to Junk (server-side filtering)
Because Outlook.com spam filtering can occur on the server side, simply moving messages out of Junk may not retrain the filter. Please try the following steps on Outlook on the web:
- Open the message in Junk Email and select “Mark as not junk / It’s not junk” (do not just move it).
- Go to Settings > Mail > Junk email:
- Add your own email address (and any aliases you send from) to Safe senders and domains.
- Confirm that your address or domain is not listed under Blocked senders and domains.
3. About resetting the spam filter
- Outlook.com does not provide a one‑click option to fully reset the spam filter. The closest approach is restoring key settings—such as Rules, Junk Email lists, and Forwarding—to their default, safe state using the steps above.
If the emails are still being delivered to Junk after marking them as “It’s not junk” and adding Safe Senders, please let me know so I can advise on the next steps.
