Copilot chat not working from within M365

need help troubleshooting, why copilot chat is not working from within M365, but chat works in edge browser regardless if question is ask via text input or dictation. thx Peter B; I getting an error message: "Service communication is currently unavailable"

i think… if edge copilot works but m365 apps throw that msg, it’s almost always the office client failing the tenant’s policy/license state, so u just need admin to confirm service‑health + copilot license + cloud‑policy, then u re‑pull that state by sign‑out → close all office procs → sign‑in.
