Hi Ryan gomez,
If Outlook.com shows “Notes (6)” but the Notes list itself is blank, this usually indicates a browser or session loading issue, not that the notes were deleted.
Please try the following steps, in order:
Open Outlook.com in an InPrivate / Incognito window and check Notes there. This uses a clean session (no extensions, cached data, or old sign‑in cookies) and often allows stuck Notes to load correctly.
- If Notes load in Incognito, disable browser extensions especially ad‑blockers or privacy tools and refresh Outlook.com in a normal window.
Stay on the Notes page for a minute or two without navigating away. Accounts with many notes, or slower connections, can take a bit longer to populate the list.
Toggle the web experience, if available: switch between New Outlook and Classic Outlook (or use the “Try the new Outlook” toggle), then reopen Notes. This can force the view to refresh.
Sign out of Outlook.com, close the browser completely, then sign back in. If needed, clear site data/cookies for Outlook and Microsoft sign‑in before retrying.
Workaround / verification: Check your Notes in the Outlook mobile app or in Sticky Notes / the OneNote feed. If your notes appear there, they are safe, and this is very likely just a web display issue specific to the browser session.
If you’d like, let me know which browser and device you’re using, and whether Notes load in an Incognito window. I can suggest the most targeted next step based on that.
Please let me know if this proves useful to you, or if you would like further assistance.
I'm looking forward to your reply.
