I am afraid you forgot to attach the screenshot/error you received.

You are signing in with the work email address right?

Without seeing the error message, it is not possible to tell you exactly what the cause is. But the most common reason is typically conditional access restriction. If that's the case, only the work IT department can review it and grant access.

    Dear @Joel Cohen,
Welcome to Q&A forum. From what you shared, I understand that you are able to join your company’s Microsoft Teams on your computer. However, when you try to join the same team on your Android phone, you keep getting an error message. You would like to know why this works on PC but not on your phone, and how to fix it.

This usually means your account is working correctly, but the Teams mobile app is having trouble signing you in to the new organization. Teams on a computer and Teams on a mobile phone handle sign‑in a little differently. Sometimes the mobile app keeps old sign‑in information or does not refresh access after joining a new company.

In the meantime, please try the following steps:

1/ Open the Google Play Store and make sure Microsoft Teams is fully updated.

2/ Open Teams, tap your profile picture, go to Settings, and sign out.

3/ On your phone, go to Settings > Apps > Microsoft Teams > Storage, then tap Clear cache.

    4/ Restart your phone.

5/ Open Teams again and sign in with your work account, then try joining the team.

6/ If the issue continues, uninstall the Teams app, restart the phone, reinstall Teams from the Play Store, and sign in again.

Please note that the steps to clear the Teams app cache can be slightly different depending on the Android device, manufacturer, and Android version. Menu names and locations may vary. If you do not see the exact options described, you can use your device’s Settings search to look for Apps, Application manager, or Storage, then select Microsoft Teams and clear the cache from there.

If the issue still happens after this, it may be related to mobile access or guest access settings in your company’s environment. In that case, your company’s IT administrator can check whether mobile access is allowed for your account in Microsoft Teams. Please understand that our initial response does not always resolve the issue immediately. However, with your help and more detailed information, we can work together to find a solution.

I truly appreciate your patience and understanding. If you have any further questions or need further clarification, please feel free to reach out. I'm looking forward to hearing from you.

    Thank you for your cooperation.

Why are they marking this as answered? No one even touched it.
