Thanks for your post. I understand that you’re trying to recover a deleted email from the Outlook/Hotmail server.
Before we go any further, please make sure you've already tried the Q&A Assist steps under your post. In addition, please try the following:
1, Check other default folders
Sometimes messages are moved automatically by rules or filters.
- Check Archive, Junk Email, and any custom folders
- If you find the message, right‑click it and select Move > Inbox
2, Verify mailbox rules
Inbox rules can silently move or delete emails.
- Open Settings > Mail > Rules
- Look for any rule that: Deletes messages or Moves mail to Deleted Items or Junk Email
- Disable any suspicious rules and save your changes.
