How to fix edge PDF editor

hey there!

All of a sudden, I can't edit any off my pdfs in edge? normal I can click and just type. I have just done an update and gone through all the steps in a previous post about this. any help would be apprecitated

    Sorry the steps did not work for you. It does seem though that Microsoft is working to get users to adopt the new Adobe service. Please double check the extensions to see if there's an Adobe Editor available for your to download to the browser.

    Looking through the settings themselves it doesn't look like it's easily found so please try following the steps listed at this link https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/2406800/microsoft-edge-pdf-editor-not-working-properly?page=1#answers.

    Unfortunately all the answers are listed as done by 'anonymous' so you can't look for the one you want by name. Please read through the answer that was posted August 5, 2024 at 6:54 pm. and follow what they did to see if it helps.

    Sorry to hear you're having trouble.

    The update may have reset the feature on the browser. Please go into the settings and make sure the feature is turned on then restart the browser. If this is an extension you installed then make sure the extension has not be turned off after the update.
