I made this Q&A just to find ways to get back the that account, since that guy changed the password, and email everything, that's all my minecraft account details in there, this new account I'm using right now has nothing since it's new, they changed it from my email to ******@gmail.com, I got this information from minecraft when I'm logging in, I was shocked at start and I was hoping I could get help.

I wish I had better news, but when a Microsoft account is hacked, if the hackers change the associated Email, then that account is usually no longer recoverable, this forum is just a user to user account and no-one here has any account access, try using the process they provide on this link to recover a hacked account, if this process is not successful, sadly, that account cannot be recovered.

To attempt to get back the hacked Microsoft account that now shows a different Gmail address and has your Minecraft data, follow these steps in order:

    1. Use the official hacked/compromised account troubleshooter
    2. Secure the device first
      • Before changing any passwords, run a full antivirus/malware scan on the PC (for Windows 10/11 or 8.1, use Windows Defender as described in the article). This helps ensure the attacker cannot immediately re‑compromise the account.
    3. Try to change or reset the Microsoft account password
      • If sign‑in is still possible, immediately change your password to a strong, unique one.
      • If sign‑in is not possible because the hacker changed the password, use the password reset flow: select Forgot my password on the Microsoft sign‑in page, then choose I think someone else is using my Microsoft account and follow the steps.
    4. If normal reset fails, use the Account Recovery form (ACSR)
      • Go to the Microsoft Account Recovery form (ACSR) referenced in the guidance and fill it out with as much accurate information as possible (old passwords, approximate creation date, regions, etc.).
      • For detailed tips on filling it out correctly, see: Help with the Microsoft account recovery form.
      • Submit from a device and location normally used for that account, and respond to any follow‑up sent to the contact email provided.
    5. Understand the limits if security info was fully replaced
      • If the hacker has completely replaced the security information (email, phone, and 2‑step verification methods) and the recovery form cannot validate ownership, there is no other supported method to regain that Microsoft account. Support agents cannot bypass security, send manual reset links, or change account details.
    6. If the Microsoft account cannot be recovered
      • If all recovery attempts fail, the account and its attached purchases (including Minecraft entitlements) cannot be restored through Microsoft account support.
      • In that case, contact Minecraft Support separately (as suggested in similar cases) with proof of purchase and account details to see if they can offer any alternative for Minecraft access, even if the Microsoft account itself cannot be recovered.
    7. After recovery (if successful)
      • Once access is restored, review and fix security settings:
        • Check and remove any unknown connected accounts, forwarding, and automatic replies as described in the hacked‑account article.
        • Turn on stronger security (such as two‑step verification) and ensure all security info (emails/phones) is under personal control.

If the official hacked‑account guide and the recovery form both fail to verify ownership, starting over with a new Microsoft account may be the only remaining option, but all official recovery steps should be fully tried first.
