The title says it all. My Teams call Video settings, video background is STUCK on "blur" setting! Cannot turn this off. I have even tried going into File Explorer and deleting the cache. I Logged out of Team & back in to Teams. I Quit Teams entirely but this also did not solve this problem.

Help! I dont want my background blurred any longer.

Thanks.

    Hello @L-M,Christine

Good day! I hope you are doing well.

Based on your description, I understand that your Microsoft Teams video background remains stuck on the Blur effect, even after selecting None, and despite clearing the cache, logging out/in, and fully quitting Teams. Please let me know if I misunderstood any part of your issue or if there are additional details you’d like to share.

To help us provide the most accurate and effective solution, could you share a bit more detail about your setup:

    • What device model are you using (e.g., Lenovo ThinkPad, MacBook, Dell, HP, etc.)?
    • Which camera are you using (built-in or external USB webcam)?
    • Are you using the Teams desktop app or Teams on the web?
    • Has your device recently installed any camera driver updates or OS updates?
    • Does the blur stay active in other applications, or only in Teams?

This additional context will help us understand your environment and the steps already taken, so we can tailor the guidance to resolve the issue effectively.

In the meantime, here are some basic checks you can try:

    • Open Settings > Bluetooth & Devices > Cameras
    • Choose your camera and look for Background effects.
    • If Blur is available, turn it OFF.
    • If it’s already OFF, toggle it ON > then OFF again

I apologize if I could not jump straight to a definitive solution. I want to avoid suggesting anything inaccurate or unhelpful. Once we have the details above, we’ll be able to assist you more effectively and guide you toward the right resolution.

Looking forward to your response so we can get this sorted out together.
