I am a paid subscriber to MS Office and Clipchamp, and I use the desktop app on my computer and the browser-based app when I am away from my desk, and I never had issues, until today where I logged in and there is absolutely no history.

All the projects I ever worked on are gone. They are not in the desktop app, not in the web app, and not in OneDrive. I know I am signed into the right account, because that's where my subscription is paid.

Online support says they are not experts in Clipchamp and direct me to post here... Please investigate this for me, reach out so we can figure it out. TIA.

Based on the current Clipchamp move to OneDrive-backed cloud storage, missing projects in both the desktop and web apps typically indicate an issue with the OneDrive connection or with the migration of older projects, not that the subscription is wrong.

    Try these steps in order:

    1. Reactivate the OneDrive entitlement
      • Go to OneDrive using this link: https://onedrive.live.com/?view=1&gologin=1
      • Sign in with the same personal Microsoft account used for Clipchamp (the one that has the paid subscription).
      • Follow any prompts to reactivate or complete setup for OneDrive.
      • When finished, reopen/reload the Clipchamp desktop app and the web app and check if projects reappear.
    2. Retry the Clipchamp–OneDrive setup from Clipchamp
      • Open Clipchamp (desktop or web).
      • On the Clipchamp dashboard, select the gear icon in the top-right corner to open Settings.
      • In the popup, go to OneDrive.
      • If you see options such as Retry setup or Choose folder, do the following:
        • First select Retry setup and follow the on-screen instructions to reconnect Clipchamp to OneDrive and let it attempt to migrate or resync projects.
        • If that does not restore projects, go back to Settings → OneDrive and use Choose folder to select or confirm the OneDrive folder where Clipchamp projects should be stored.
    3. Check for migration errors
      • If Clipchamp shows an error like “We couldn't save your projects to OneDrive. Please retry the setup or contact us if this issue persists.” on the dashboard, it indicates a migration problem.
      • In that case, repeat step 2 (Retry setup / Choose folder) until the error clears.
    4. Verify project storage and folders
      • Clipchamp no longer shows folders in its own UI. Project organization must be done in OneDrive.
      • In OneDrive (web), sign in with the same account and browse for Clipchamp-related folders to confirm whether any project files exist there.
      • If projects were previously archived locally instead of backed up to OneDrive, they will not appear in OneDrive and must be re-uploaded before they can be edited again.
    5. If projects still appear missing
      • For personal Clipchamp accounts, if OneDrive is active and the Clipchamp–OneDrive setup has been retried but projects still do not show in either app or in OneDrive, use the official Clipchamp support and troubleshooting channels referenced below to continue investigation, as they can handle account-specific issues.
