Outlook Classic Default Settings

I am having difficulty with outlook classic's default settings. When I try to share a photo, it defaults to the new outlook and not outlook classic.

Can I get a bit more information like the Outlook classic that you are using is the old application right? (not the New Outlook with toggle version of classic).

New Outlook is the default mail client for share actions, and it is not MAPI‑compliant. To force shares to use Classic Outlook instead, set Classic Outlook as the default mail client and avoid using New Outlook for MAPI-based actions like “Share” from other apps. If Classic is not opening, toggle back to Classic Outlook in the Outlook window so it becomes the active Outlook for these operations.
