On 5.2609.1 it looks like tapping the toggle when "off" doesn't result in it appearing "on", but does accomplish a (partial?) one-time sync.
Android outlook app won't allow toggle to sync to native calendar
Hello, I encountered a problem March 12, 2026 where the Outlook app for Android won't allow me to sync my calendar to my native Android calendar using the sync calendars toggle under Outlook settings. The toggle isn't greyed out, it just won't allow me to click it.
I've ensured the app has all the access permissions it needs, reset the account, emptied the cache, restarted the phone, and uninstalled and reinstalled the Outlook app, but none of these solutions worked.
Are there any other ways to troubleshoot this issue? Thank you for your help!

2026-03-19T16:46:22.26+00:00 Same issue. Outlook/Android calendar no longer syncing and cannot toggle Calendar Sync back on in the Outlook Android app settings.
Numerous Redit reporting this issue over the past few days with only identified solution (to date) of rolling back to a previous build of Outlook by downloading an APK. If a previous build fixes it, this is pretty much guaranteed that Microsoft changed something in the app and clearing cache, reloading Outlook, etc. won't fix it... (Redit users also saying those steps don't help.)
