When you first purchased your Microsoft 365 business subscription, Microsoft sent a confirmation email to the address used during registration. This email typically includes the admin account information, which usually follows this format: ******@yourcompany.onmicrosoft.com.
Please note that the billing or notification email address used to purchase the subscription is often different from the admin account required to sign in to the Microsoft 365 Admin Center.
If you’re unsure of your admin account, we recommend checking that original confirmation email. Try searching your inbox for keywords like “Microsoft” or “onmicrosoft.com” to locate it.
If you’re unable to locate the admin account details and there are no other global administrators in your organization, this situation requires contacting Microsoft’s Data Protection Team. This is the only team authorized to recover or reset admin access from the backend. The most effective way to reach them for a business account is by phone.
