How do I actually download and run setupprod_offscrub.exe.

So, if you want to uninstall Office, use the following link.

Follow the prompts on the remaining screens and when prompted, restart your computer.

setupprod_offscrub.exe is the Office uninstall/support tool. To actually download and run it on Windows, use these steps:

1. Close all Office apps (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
2. Go to the official Microsoft support page that provides the Office Support and Recovery Assistant / uninstall tool (the page that keeps redirecting to instructions).
3. On that page, select the option to download the uninstall or Support and Recovery tool. This should download a file named setupprod_offscrub.exe (or similar) to the browser’s default download location (usually the Downloads folder).
