Question about LinkedIn Premium benefit with Microsoft 365

Hello,

I recently activated the 12-month free trial of Microsoft 365 Premium for students. One of the reasons I subscribed was because the offer mentioned that it includes LinkedIn Premium.

However, I have not received any email or instructions on how to activate the LinkedIn Premium subscription. I checked my inbox and spam folder but couldn’t find any activation message.

Could you please help me check whether my account is eligible for the LinkedIn Premium benefit and let me know how I can activate it?

    Dear @Meerim,

I understand you’re looking forward to using your LinkedIn Premium benefit. It is a fantastic tool for students, and I’m happy to clarify how the activation process works for this specific offer.

The LinkedIn Premium Career benefit is indeed included in the 12-month Microsoft 365 Student trial, but it is not activated automatically at the moment of subscription.

    1. Wait for the Activation Email (7–10 Days)

The redemption link is typically sent via email within 7 to 10 days after your student status has been verified and your Microsoft 365 trial is active.

    • Sender: Look for emails from LinkedIn or Microsoft Store.
    • Folders: Check your Spam/Junk, Promotions, and social tabs. Use a web browser to search, as mobile apps occasionally filter these automated messages.
    1. Verify Email Consistency
For the benefit to sync correctly, the email address used for your Microsoft 365 Student trial should ideally match the primary email on your LinkedIn profile. If they differ, please check the inbox of the email you used specifically for the Microsoft 365 registration.
    2. Check LinkedIn Directly
Sometimes the offer is attached to your account before the email arrives:
    • Sign in to LinkedIn.com > Click your Profile Icon (Me).
    • Go to Settings & Privacy > Account Preferences.
    • Look under Subscriptions & Payments to see if a "Redeem" or "Activate" option appears for the Microsoft student benefit.
    1. Eligibility & Support
Please ensure your student status was fully validated (usually via a .edu or institution email). If it has been more than 10 days and you have verified all folders, I recommend contacting Microsoft Education Support at https://support.microsoft.com/education to have them re-trigger the redemption code.

I look forward to your update so we can ensure you get access to your tools.
