    Hello,

How did you obtain your license initially?

Did it come with the device preinstalled, or did you purchase it?

If you purchased it, did you purchase from Microsoft, or from third party?

Is it originally a Win7/8 key?

Can you please type cmd in the search on the taskbar and hit enter to launch command prompt, then run the following command:

    slmgr /dlv

Then share a screenshot please. Thanks!

The hardware change (motherboard) has broken the link between the device and the original Windows license, and the sign‑in error is a separate account/tenant issue that does not change the activation rules.

For Windows 11, activation after a major hardware change works only if one of these is true and supported by the tools:

    1. The device has a valid product key that matches the installed edition.
    2. There is a valid digital license for this device that can be re‑matched using the Activation troubleshooter and the same Microsoft account that was linked before the change.

    From the provided information:

    • After a motherboard replacement, Windows may report errors such as 0xC004F211 or 0xC004F213 because the hardware no longer matches the stored license.
    • If Windows originally came preinstalled on the device and the motherboard was replaced, a new license may be required.
    • Microsoft offers an exception path for transferring a Windows license after a hardware change, but this requires that the same Microsoft account was linked to the digital license before the change and that the Activation troubleshooter can see that license.

To see if the exception path is available on the current device:

    1. On the Windows 11 device, go to Start > Settings > System > Activation.
    2. If Windows is not activated, select Troubleshoot.
    3. If the troubleshooter cannot resolve the issue automatically, look for a link such as reactivate after a hardware change and follow that path.

If the troubleshooter does not offer the hardware‑change reactivation path or cannot find a matching digital license, the context indicates the remaining supported options are:

    • Enter a valid product key that was previously used on this device before the hardware change (if available) via Change product key under Activation.
    • Purchase a new Windows license from Start > Settings > System > Activation > Go to Microsoft Store.

The AADSTS500200 message about a personal Microsoft account relates to Azure/organization sign‑in and does not itself grant or block a Windows 11 license. If the digital license cannot be matched to the new hardware and no valid product key is available, activation will require obtaining a new license as described in the documentation.
