Its 2026 and i am revisiting a 2023 problem. I'm having the trouble again.

Is there a way to stop spammers from all different domains from auto adding to my calendar in Outlook 365?

Since you didn't specify your account type, I will provide solution based on the tag of the initial post (Classic Outlook for Business account). If you're using a personal account (@hotmail, gmail, outlook.com...) instead of a business account (@onmicrosoft.com, @yourdomain.com....), please let me know so that I can provide guidance with more accuracy.

    Hi @Wilber Sok,

According to your concern, can you confirm what type of events you want to stop adding automatically to your calendar:

1/ Event from emails (flight reservations, package reservations, etc.)

Based on the information here Automatically add events from your email to your calendar - Microsoft Support, you can’t change “Events from email” settings directly in classic Outlook but you need to change it in Outlook on the web, and it then applies to your mailbox

    • Sign into your account in Outlook for the web > choose Settings (gear icon) on the top right
    • Select Calendar > Events from email and set all the selections to either "Don’t show event summaries in email or on my calendar" or "Only show event summaries in email"

    User's image

    2/ Spamming meeting invites

If they are meeting entries, you can disable automatic processing meeting invite in classic Outlook by:

    • In classic Outlook, go to File > Option > Mail
    • Scroll down to Tracking and uncheck the option "Automatically process meeting requests..."

    User's image

    • Then press OK > restart Outlook to apply the change

To prevent spamming emails in the future, I highly suggest contacting your IT administrator and share them the details about the situation. You can specifically ask them to strengthen the anti-phishing policy to prevent security risks from spamming emails sent to your organizational tenant. This is a standard request, and your organization's IT team should be able to assist you with it.

You can also share the steps in this Microsoft article for them so they can configure and strengthen the policies Configure anti-phishing policies in Microsoft Defender for Office 365 - Microsoft Defender for Office 365

If you don't know who your IT administrator is, please refer to this article: How do I find my Microsoft 365 admin? - Microsoft Support

Please understand that my initial response may not always resolve the issue immediately. However, you can try these steps and let me know if it works for you. if not, we can work together to find a solution.

If you have any questions or need further assistance, please feel free to share them in the comments on this post so I can continue to support you.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. I'm looking forward to your reply.
